Bullied for her red hair, scarred by abuse, yet Jacqueline Pirtle turned pain into light—now she helps thousands heal their minds, bodies, and souls.

Hi, my name is Jacqueline Pirtle, and I am the owner of the lifestyle company FreakyHealer. For over 24 years, I have dedicated my life to helping people live happier, more conscious, and meaningful lives—as a holistic practitioner, bestselling author, podcast host, and speaker. I am also a proud wife, a thrilled mom to humans and kitties, and an unapologetic lover of luscious red wine and rich dark chocolate. Everything I create—my books, podcasts, and teachings—serves as a tool to guide people toward alignment with their best, well-feeling selves. I believe deeply that no matter the circumstances, it is always possible to show up fully present, healthy, happy, and vibrant in your own life.

I was born in Switzerland, the land of chocolate, cheese, mountains, and exquisite watches—not to be confused with Sweden, which, for the record, I know very little about. I like to clarify that early because people mix the two up all the time. I am a natural redhead, and even from my very first breath, I was aware of my difference—though as a newborn, I was blissfully oblivious to the attention my fiery hair drew. My first focus was simple: breathing, taking in this new world, and, of course, being nourished.

My family consisted of my mom, dad, two brothers, and occasionally a pet. Outwardly normal, but growing up as a redhead in Europe came with its challenges. Back then, red hair was still linked to old superstitions, and children like me were often bullied. The gentler taunts—calling me bright like a nightstand lamp—were something I could reframe positively. The harsher ones, though, were more difficult to make sense of.

I also experienced sexual abuse, which left a deep imprint. Even today, fragments of that trauma occasionally resurface. I have learned to honor those moments, accepting and loving the story of my young life as part of who I am. I firmly believe that everything and everyone we encounter is for us, never done to us—a platform for growth, healing, and expansion into the being we are meant to become. While I condemn abuse and violence in all forms, my approach is rooted in peace, love, and conscious accountability rather than anger.

I think of our personal stories like backpacks. We can carry them as a weight, or we can carry them with understanding, pride, and grace—using them as tools for healing and celebration. Your backpack holds everything you need, not as a burden in front of you, but as your foundation to step into a magnificent life.

As a child, I was highly sensitive and emotional, deeply affected by everything around me. My senses constantly absorbed the world like a living, magical eight-ball. Often misunderstood, I was labeled strange, overly emotional, or sad. I preferred solitude or the company of one close friend, feeling alive with the light and joy within, even if it wasn’t visible to others. This deep inner life became the foundation of my connection to holistic practices, energy healing, and soul work—starting at a very young age.

Looking back, I see the bullying I endured as a recognition of my brightness rather than a diminishment of my being. The sexual abuse, while deeply unfair, touched only my physical self—not my soul. These experiences strengthened my understanding that I am more than my body; I am a whole being, encompassing body, mind, soul, and consciousness.

Through this clarity, I realized:

  • My soul is the most powerful part of me, untouched by external harm.
  • My soul holds the answers, guidance, and healing I need.
  • True happiness and well-being arise from connecting first to my soul.
  • My higher wisdom is relentless, guiding me with both inner nudges and physical cues until I align with my light.

Pain, whether emotional or physical, is a gift in disguise—a signal to reconnect with my inner light, cleanse old energies, and shift into higher vibration. Following this guidance has been at the heart of both my personal and professional journey.

Professionally, I have pursued holistic living and natural healing, earning multiple international degrees and constantly expanding into metaphysical, energetic, quantum, and consciousness-based practices. From energetic touch to hypnosis, past-life healing to homeopathy, I have explored nearly every method available—selecting what aligns with my well-being and purpose. Working with clients online, offering energy work, and producing my podcast, The Daily Freak, allows me to share these insights widely.

My books are close to my heart. My first, 365 Days of Happiness, emerged from an inner calling to study and practice happiness daily. It became a bestselling guide in March 2018, offering daily passages to help people find joy no matter the circumstances. My second book, Parenting Through the Eyes of Lollipops, created during summer walks and backyard reflections, celebrates conscious parenting and gives a voice to children while guiding parents to raise them mindfully.

What it Means to BE a Woman; And Yes, Women Do Poop! followed, written outdoors during the colder months, diving into my own story and the broader female experience. It empowers readers to witness solutions rather than dwell in problems, creating a life of conscious choice and authenticity.

During the tumultuous year of 2020, I self-published Life IS Beautiful; Here’s to New Beginnings, a journal-style guide for readers to explore their inner world and align with their soul, regardless of external challenges. It invites deep reflection, journaling, and reconnection with one’s first breath—a reminder of the innate wisdom we all carry.

More books are in the works, as writing, podcasting, and energy work remain my primary focus. I am profoundly grateful for the trust and gifts that allow me to serve and inspire people globally. Every interaction—supportive or challenging—fills my backpack, strengthening the vibrant being I continue to become.

Above all, I am endlessly thankful to my husband for believing in my crazy ideas, my two adult children and angel baby for opening my heart, and our pets, past and present, whose light illuminates mine. Life, in all its complexity, has gifted me a constant co-creation with everyone and everything, making the ride truly remarkable.

I hope my story inspires trust in your inner being, your power, and your ability to follow your own light. True happiness comes from aligning with your soul, walking your unique path, and embracing life fully. With that, you can do anything—no matter the circumstances.
